A SHORT INTRODUCTION TO ALL THE DIFFERENT YOGA STYLES.


Anusara Yoga

It is the successor of the modern school of hatha yoga originally began with John Friend in 1997. It derives from the Iyengar style and reintroduces elements of Hindu spirituality.

Asthanga Yoga
Actual form is coming from traditional Indian yoga. It consists of a certain sequence of complex asanas (body positions). Ashtanga Yoga was developed by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois is one of the most successful methods in the West.

Bikram Yoga
It is a subclass of Hatha Yoga, also known as Hot Yoga, consists of a series of 26 asanas and two breathing exercises, which are held in a warm room at a temperature between 35/40 Celsius Degrees.

Chinese Yoga “(Qi Gong)”

Dynamic Yoga

Hatha Yoga
Hatha Yoga Pradipika, ancestral yoga, based on the combination of static and sustained asanas, pranayama and meditation.

Ishta Yoga
Developed by Mani Finger, it is based on the principles of Hatha Yoga, Tantra and Ayurveda, focusing on the needs of each individual in his intelligence and authenticity.

Iyengar Yoga
Therapeutic version of Hatha Yoga described by B.K.S. Iyengar, whose main concept is the correct body position is based on body alignment and is used for this additional material such as belts, cushions, chairs or the wall itself, anything that helps to have greater alignment.

Jivamukty Yoga

Kirtan

Kriya Yoga

Kundalini Yoga

Power Yoga
Ashtanga Yoga variant developed in Los Angeles by Bryan Kest, knowledge of sports medicine, clear and simple exercises are integrated, this practice is directed to a people are fan of gym rather than spiritual enlightenment, vigorous asanas.

Prana Shakti
Gentle yoga, it was developed by the Chilean Gustavo Ponce, the target is the alignment on the energy centers (chakras), asanas and pranayama are intended to strengthen the immune system. The movement hands in this yoga reminds Japanes Reiki.

Prenatal Yoga
Yoga for pregnant soft aimed at alleviating the discomforts of pregnancy and childbirth prepares, asanas completely relax the abdominal area, so that the pelvic floor is not weakened. The exercises breathing aims to increase breathing capacity.

Raja Yoga
It is the spiritual form of Ashtanga Yoga, whose main objective is the domain of the spirit, it is considered as the optimal path of yoga, with which one comes to unite with divinity through meditation, attention, visualizations and observation internal.

Restorative Yoga / “Candle Light Yoga”
It is known about the delicate movements, the positions taken on the ground, it is light stretches, twists and relaxation exercises can also be done through sandbags, pillows, and everything that would free the body and soul.

Sattva Yoga
It combines elements of “Hatha Yoga” and “Raja Yoga” “in order to balance the physical body and purify the energy body. At the end of the process, clarity and a higher state of consciousness arises.

Satyananda Yoga
Paramhamsa concept developed by Satyananda and Bihar School of Yoga, which is part of asanas, pranayama and meditation also provides guidelines for carrying a lifestyle of genuine yogi in all areas of life, your goal is always spiritual development.

Scaravelli Yoga

SUP (Stand Up Paddle) Yoga

Vijnana Yoga

Vinyasa Flow
